Here are some common questions we get about the guides! Feel free to read these if you're feeling lost.

Nope! Tutorials give you specific steps to follow, but don't teach you how to think, which is really important when creating. Guides give you specific skills which you can use whenever you want. It's the difference between being handed a meal and being taught how to cook; the latter gives you more freedom to do what you want.
Guides are made by members of our Discord server! We have a dedicated team of experienced creators who produce and proofread them, but you're also welcome to submit a guide of your own if you join.
This is an understandable concern! We do our best to accomodate other forms of learning here, so there are video and audio versions of guides you can watch and listen to. You'll find these at the top of each guide page that has been adapted to other formats.
It depends on what exactly you want to make. There are countless variations of block designs, backgrounds, trigger setups, and so on, and the specific creation you need depends on what level you're making. Usually the more specific you are about what you're making and your goals for it, the better the end result, as explained here.
If you're happy with your current skill as a creator, then we're happy for you! However, there's always room to improve, and it doesn't hurt to refresh yourself on the basics either. There are lots of advanced guides in our Discord server, so feel free to check that out as well.
Style has its place, but without building the proper fundamental skills within the editor, you are merely limiting yourself. Therefore, let's not worry about it too much if you are starting out. Besides, you'll naturally grow into your own style as you gain more experience.
Besides, we want the guides to be able to help any creator regardless of their style because here's the thing: whether you are a modern-styled creator, 2.0-styled creator, 1.0-styled creator, glow-styled creator or whatever-styled creator, you are all using the same editor, and using similar human brains to generate ideas and plan your projects. The more you understand and apply the features provided in the editor, the more your style will develop.
